Structures for the Two Programs

Just to make sure all is clear, I'm thinking that the two 'programs' would consist of as follows:

Elementary Program (very roughly grades 1-4)
- A four volume set of history and literature texts, containing literature and stories from history.
- Suggested additional readings (basically just a chronological 'good books' list. (some of these might be starred as more essential than others)
-Possibly some kind of list of suggested activities

High School Program
- A 5-15 page 'program guide' which lists what to read when, provides brief notes on each work, and perhaps offers options/tracks based on time and interest
- Suggested outside reading, art, music, movies

If we include "brief notes" on each work, it's going to be a lot more than 15 pages . . .

I was thinking "brief notes" as in 3-8 sentences describing why it's there, what it is, any any special things to look for.

In simply schedule form, each year of the program fits on a single page.
